Came here while watching the scene from Home Alone 2, asking Google the name of the song so I could add it to my Spotify Christmas playlist, but only found an instrumental version. However, without the children’s’ chorus, this just takes away the entirety of the euphoria of the ballad’s meaning. Thank you for allowing me to come listen to it again and again.

This song gives me such a melancholy sound that I listened to it on Christmas day after my boyfriend (I'm in a long-distance relationship) didn't respond to my birthday message or phone calls, he told me he had had a full day with the family and he forgot to wish me a Merry Christmas and I have never felt so alone in my life.. I hope that next year I will reread this message and have someone close to me who truly loves me. ❤️
